Erie will finish its road trip in Binghamton before the home opener at Jerry Uht Park on Thursday against the Trenton Thunder. … Binghamton earned a series split with Akron by hanging on to a 5-4 win on Sunday. … The Mets do not have a top 20 prospect according to MLB.com. Starting pitcher Cory Mazzoni could potentially join Binghamton after recovering from an injury he suffered late in spring training. … Matt Clark and Dustin Lawley each had four hits for Binghamton in its opening four-game series. … Darin Gorski will start Thursday for the Mets after being tabbed as the Opening Day starter last week.
