Erie rallies for a 6-5 win! Eugenio Suarez started the inning with a walk before Aaron Westlake singled to right. Ramon Cabrera then walked the bases loaded with no outs before Wade Gaynor’s groundball was booted then thrown away. Steven Moya then grounded into a double play to allow the tying run to score before Francisco Martinez ripped the first pitch he saw into right field for a walkoff RBI single.
6th inning: Will Startup with another scoreless inning despite some interesting defense. Darrell Ceciliani with a two-out single and appears to be picked off, but the rundown doesn’t work out. Startup then strikes out Brian Burgamy to end the inning. Binghamton 5, Erie 3
The SeaWolves load the bases but can’t cash in. Steven Moya with a one-out double and Craig Albernaz reaches on a two-out infield single. After Jamie Johnson walks to load the bases, pinch-hitter Jason Krizan lines out to right.
5th inning: Will Startup comes in for a somewhat rocky, but scoreless relief inning. He gives up a single to Matt Reynolds and a walk to Matt Clark. Startup gets Cory Vaughn to pop out before a fielder’s choice and a flyball ends the inning.
Erie cuts into the lead as Brandon Loy draws a one-out walk and goes to third on a Eugenio Suarez single. Aaron Westlake follows with a sac fly to drive in Loy. Binghamton 5, Erie 3
4th inning: Binghamton tacks on a run to take a 5-2 lead. Xorge Carrillo rips a double down the left field line and comes around on a Darrell Ceciliani sac fly to right.
Another 1-2-3 inning for Darin Gorski. Binghamton 5, Erie 2
3rd inning: Pat McCoy relieves Kenny Faulk after two innings. McCoy gets two quick strikeouts before Cory Vaughn reached on an error. Jayce Boyd then grounded into a forceout to end the inning.

2nd inning: Wilfredo Tovar starts the inning with a base hit but is thrown out stealing second while Darrell Ceciliani strikes out. Brian Burgamy then pops out to end the inning.
After two quick outs, Jamie Johnson draws a walk and is thrown out going to third as Bradon Loy’s ground ball was booted by the third baseman. Tovar, the shortstop, recovered the loose ball and threw out Johnson at third.
1st inning: Once again, Binghamton jumps on Erie pitching. Darrell Ceciliani starts the game with a walk and Brian Burgamy hit a ground-rule double to center. Both come around to score on two straight sacrifice flies. Cory Vaughn and Jayce Boyd follow with walks before Travis Taijeron doubled to score two more. Binghamton 4, Erie 0
Erie fights back right away. Jamie Johnson triples to right-center before Eugenio Suarez brings him in with a one-out double. Aaron Westlake followed with a walk and Ramon Cabrera popped out before Wade Gaynor scorched a double down the left field line to score another run. Binghamton 4, Erie 2

Eugenio Suarez singles followed by a single from Aaron Westlake. Suarez gets hung up between second and third after initially running through a stop sign and trying to get back to second. Ramon Cabrera then walks, which signaled the end of Matt Bowman. Adam Kolarek comes in to get a popout and a groundout to end the inning. Binghamton 5, Erie 1
5th inning: Matt Clark and Cory Vaughn each with a one-out single but Jeff Ferrell gets out of the jam by inducing a 6-4-3 DP from

Matt Bowman continues to pitch well for Binghamton. After two quick outs, he walks Jamie Johnson on four pitches, but he makes a nice play on a comebacker from Jason Krizan to end the inning.
4th inning: Another 1-2-3 inning as Aaron Westlake made two impressive defensive plays.
Steven Moya doubles down the left field line with two outs, but he is stranded as Dean Green pops out to short. Binghamton 5, Erie 1

Erie gets on the scoreboard. Francisco Martinez draws a leadoff walk before Corey Jones flied out to right. Jamie Johnson then rocketed a double off the right-center wall to drive in Martinez. Johnson would get stranded on second base. Binghamton 5, Erie 1
2nd inning: Binghamton out to a 5-0 lead as Jeff Ferrell is struggling on the mound. Kevin Plawecki doubled and Jayce Boyd singled to put runners on first and third with one out. After a shallow flyout to center, Wilfredo Tovar singled to left to drive in a run and make it 2-0. One pitch later, Kyle Johnson unloads a three-run homer off the Erie Insurance Arena to make it 5-0. Altoona 5, Akron 3 – Mel Rojas Jr. had a two-run triple in the first inning and Joely Rodriguez allowed one earned run in six innings on the mound to spark the Curve.
